* Important notes;

We do not supply screws as each installation is different.

It is important to follow the guides with accuracy for correct full blackout result.

Check how channels will sit prior too installing. Corner Light Blocks need to be hidden inside aluminium channel (No plastic visible on the front of channels. Make sure aluminium mitre sits in front of plastic light blocks to hide the plastic light blocks.)

Once track location is worked out for non pre drilled Full Blockout Cassette. Carefully prise open the channel using a strong flat blade screwdriver inside the channel. Make sure you do this at the end that is cut square, on the bottom channel on one mitre end only. Slowly work your way along the channel, being careful not to bend the front insert.

Use long series drills and long series phillips head bit/screwdriver for installation. Make sure to protect the aluminium for scratching, including little swarf filings. TIp: We use masking tape around drilling/screwing area.

Top Cassette installation, make sure screws are 35-40mm in from the outer edges of the cassette to allow bracket to slide into track. Top rear part of cassette needs to align with your finished measurement at the top on Face Fit installation. If you install higher the cassette won't sit correctly at the bottom. Some adjustment might be required based on your individual circumstances.

For recess fit, make sure brackets and end covers are installed prior to fitting rear cassette in the recess. The face of the cassette clicks into place, as the final step of installation. The Front of your Cassette must finish flush with the side brackets. If the Front Cassette doesn't click in and sit flush, it isn't installed correctly and may let light bleed into your room.

Tip: We use a small fine thread plaster screw to start the thread for end covers and finish off attaching end covers with small screws supplied with Cassette System. Only use hand screwdriver (Approximately 2-3 full turns with plaster screw to open aluminium) Check first hole to ensure, not to open. When installing covers tighten small bracket screws until tight. You may wish to gap seal behind recess fit side channels. We do not recommend sealing front, as this will prevent future maintenance.
