How to Measure Face Fit Zebra Blinds without Architraves

Important steps to follow when measuring Face Fit Blinds without architraves.
Print Blinds Downunder measuring form or download Blinds Downunder measuring form from our website to document blind measurements and details.
Use a metal tape measure.
Make sure the tape measure is taut when taking measurements.
Only write measurements down in millimetres.
Document the largest measurement of the three spot measurements for width and drop.
Always write down the width measurement first and then the drop measurement second. Add 100 - 160mm extra on the actual width measurement, based on your personal preference. This is to allow for potential bracket fixing into timber or steel studs. The extra width will assist with light control. The drop measurement requires a minimum 100mm to allow for the C70 cassette pelmet size (80mm) above the window and approximately 20mm to sit below your window. For hard to floor blinds, only add 80mm and select (Just off floor) deduction on our order page. Otherwise select (Deduction not required) to keep your measurement same as inputted.
Each Zebra fabric has a different stripe size. In open position the bottom of the Zebra Blind is clear view from outside to inside of your room. If your window allows, by adding additional to your drop measurement the clear view size can be reduced.
Write down the preferred control side on each individual Blind.
Always double check measurements with the measurements you have written down.
Watch for protruding door/window hardware that might interfere with the Zebra Blind operation.
