Outstanding service and quality I had an order of 5 roller blinds, all different sizes, two types of roll back, and two colours of fittings (only thing the same was the colour/fabric). Large drop down screen We needed to replace a drop down screen, not used as a roller blind as such but it was a bespoke size and our request was a little unusual. We had tried quotes from several other places and most were almost 3x the price or because our request was a little different they never returned emails etc. These guys got back straight away and were not put off by the unusual nature of our job. Amazing products. If I knew these products existed, I would have bought them years ago! I had venetian blinds installed in my windows when we moved into our property more than 10 years ago, with a lot of light coming in, especially from the front rooms facing the road that were not ideal for sleep. I did not want to put an ugly curtain blind over them, until someone told me about these cassette blockout blinds. The blinds provide total blockout from light and have made such a difference to my sleep and that of my family. They also look very stylish and have made our rooms look so much better. The cassettes were exactly what we ordered in terms of measurements, and they were of high quality, as was the blind fabric and the exact colour we saw online. Alan was amazing at providing support throughout the order process, updated me on expected delivery and was courteous and responsive to all my questions pre and post installation. Best choice for vertical blind slats and roller blinds I recently replaced all the window coverings in my home with replacement vertical blind slats and new roller blinds from Blinds Downunder, and I’m extremely happy with the results. After talking to Alan at Blinds Downunder in Victoria and discussing my needs for two external motorised 240v blinds for my carport and caravan housing (another carport} i settled on two (240v ) roller blinds with remote control 1 x straight drop and 1 x guide rod drop using Stradbroke sunscreen mesh . I found Alan very helpfull in making sure all measurements were right and supplying my DIY installation instructions , he always returned my calls if i had any queries or problems . Blind replacement material is easy to install and much cheaper I ordered thermal roller blind material and used it to replace my old worn blind successfully. The cut was great. It was easy to apply double sided tape, plastic coated flat tape (like biase binding or hemming material) and then slot it into the metal blind roll. It worked out to be significantly cheaper and less wasteful than replacing the whole blind. Now I know how easy it is, I'll be ordering more soon to replace another blind. Approximate cost: $126

I specifically choose blinds down under as they offered a full cassette (block out) blind. I needed this particular blind as it is located near a fireplace and required to maintain safety clearances . I then ordered a series of face fitted and recess fitted rollers for the rest of the house. After the blinds arrived i completed the installation myself. The recess blinds were very difficult to fit, but i got there in the end and the face fitted blinds - the aluminum facia was not going together. On Saturday night at around 7pm i emailed blinds downunder for some confirmation i was sent the right parts for the face fitted blinds. These guys were amazing.... within 20 mins i had a reply and we went back and forth for a good hour till i had installed the face fitted blinds. When we spoke about the recess fitted blinds, we realized they could have been a tad shorter... well after confirming measurements, blinds online charged a flat rate of $80 (which included shipping out and back) to have the blinds cut down. Got those blinds back, fitted without issue. During all this one part of the full cassette blind was not delivered. Again.. these guys were great.. they followed up with Auspost and then shipped me a new set of parts free of charge. I would definitely recommend these guys. Service was great, product is great and price is highly competitive. Great work Blinds down under and thanks again.

A+ service for budget price I couldn’t be happier with finding blinds down under. We had the bottom bar come off our blinds that were supplied and installed from another company and were approx 5 years old. Contacted them and after paying $100 for them to “service” the blinds and not be successful in fixing them they quoted a few hundred to fix 1 blind. There were 4 that were failing. After contacting blinds down under they were able to suppply the components for all 4 blinds for a fraction of the price we were quoted to fix 1. Blinds down under were even proactive in offering remote assistance if there were any problems with the install (there weren’t, it was an easy process with some YouTube guidance) I will happily recommend to family and friends and will be coming back if we have any future window covering requirements!

Blinds Downunder are incredible. We considered a lot of blind companies but in terms of quality and professional care Blinds Downunder are miles ahead. Having everything made is Australia brings a different selection of materials than most can supply. They also have automation options which work with Google, Alexa and Apple HomeKit both battery and wired. You’d like they’d be more expensive but to the contrary they came in as best value too. It’s rarely I write reviews online but I’m so impressed and happy with our blinds that I’d like others to benefit from such a great Aussie company and crew!

But then I was lucky to come in contact with Alan from Blinds Downunder. Last Sunday he came and managed to make the blind working again. He did not give up until he found a way. I had been finding suppliers who could customise my roller blinds as I wanted them to be, but couldn't find EXCEPT Blinds Downunder. Alan has been superb with us from scratch till the finished product on our windows. A very generous, humble and professional person and everyone who is reading this review must give a chance to BD. I gave measurements to BD, and being an engineer I wanted to have my products as per measurements. BD successfully manufactured my blinds with less than a millimeter tolerance, which is just awesome I would say. All blinds are a perfect fit (face fit) on my windows.

Thank you for our blinds they are excellent!! The curtains we had were old and leaving white powder over the windows and window sills. These blinds we purchased from Blinds Downunder to replace the curtains fit perfect and block the street lights out at night to make the room a lot darker. They also help to block the light out during the day when you need that nap. The material is strong and the sleek design makes them look flush. The wife and kids are very happy, Thank you!!!

Alan was a pleasure to work with, always prompt and helpful. I had a request to work out a solution for something that would cover a large whiteboard in an office for when the room camera was on for video conferencing and had the idea for a custom blind (with custom artwork printed on it) so reached out to Blinds Downunder. The blind is perfect and acts as both a privacy screen for the contents on the whiteboard if still needed after the video call, but also acts as branded back-drop for the on camera person without them having to add an artificial background. The chain-free zero gravity mechanism makes it easy to use and the slim pelmet is not too intrusive. We did arrange for install ourselves as we are in Sydney but when we had a slight problem Alan was able to talk us through it easily. Great job all around, would 100% recommend. Once arrived we had alittle bit of trouble with the install. But again sent an email with photos and they got back to us super fast and it was easy from there! Great work done professionally with dedication I used this company for the mechanism repair of a 2.8-meter-wide roller blind. Allan after receiving the parts came in to resolve the issue with the roman blind which he fixed in very short time. There were other smaller roman blinds with some problems which he investigated and provided solutions. Allan spent nearly an hour on three other roman blinds which were fixed to great extent but charged me only for fixing the large blind. When I got the invoice, I wanted to pay for the extra work he had done but he declined to accept the extra amount.I also found that they can make blind and we can get new blinds made through this outfit. Considering his professionalism, honesty and punctuality, I have no hesitation in recommending him for the good work he does.

Can’t thank Alan enough for his amazing dedication to making our difficult project a great success. While we were specifying the job Alans patience with my detailed and constant questions was unwavering. We used the smart motors on double rollers with pelmets so there was a lot to consider. Alan even customised the pelmet for us minimising the opening to give a super clean look. We weren’t comfortable to install ourselves so Alan offered a full service install as we are nearby to him in Melbourne. The install proved way more difficult than expected with a variety of solutions required to deal with the different wall constructions present. Alan persisted until he achieved a truly impressive finish. From sale to post install support I sincerely can’t speak highly enough of our experience with Blinds Downunder. Alan said, sure we've never sold just skins but we'll give it a go. They double checked I had all my measurements correct and when they thought I might have missed something they called to ask me. They sent me extra items for free to help ensure it all went as well as it could for me. They watching over the distribution chain and ensuring everything was delivered in full.
